Jacobi Jarski

GHWIC Grants Manager

Jacobi Jarski is an enrolled member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and a descendent of the Fond Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. She was raised by her mother, Mary Beth Jarski, her uncle Jerome Jarski, and her grandmother the late Bernice Jarski.

Jacobi lives in Parshall, ND with her significant other of 13 years, Sevant Taft and their 8 year old son Lucas. She is a graduate of New Town High School- Class of 2010 and is currently attending Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College for Elementary Education.

In her free time, Jacobi enjoys golfing, crafting, watching movies, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.

Her role as GHWIC Grant Manager entails managing and maintaining the Good Health and Wellness in Indian Country Grant. The goal of this grant is to improve health among Indigenous Communities to support a coordinated, holistic approach to healthy living and chronic disease prevention, reduce obesity, prevent type 2 diabetes, and other risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
